I am a self taught enthusiast from Austin, Texas.

The following is my life in pictures.
Ask me ANYTHING!

Yeah, another picture of my cat. Sorry…. Sorry I’m not sorry!

Claire and Andrew at the Botanical Gardens, my personal favorites from our day there. It was so fun shooting them because I lucked out on great weather and lighting, and they were so cute together I never had to help stage a shot.

Set 2! I’m having fun.

Rainy day adventures with Paul, in San Marcos, TX. Getting a little whimsical today.

My girls. Snapped during a random dance party in my parking garage. It was just so sunny.

Paloma, also known as “Loma.” Behold, the face of evil.

In my grandmother’s backyard in Merida, Mexico.

I think this is my favorite picture from the trip. He is such a gentleman, my Papio.

In Izamal, Mexico.

All of the buildings in Izamal are painted the same shade of yellow. The reason why is apparently of some dispute. I got three reasons:

  1. My grandmother and cousins told me that it is because Izamal (also spelled Itzmal) was one of the first places Pope John Paul II visited when he went to Mexico, and they painted it yellow for him. But that was in 1993, and it seems to have been painted yellow for longer.
  2. When I went on a tour there, the guide said it was because the Mayans loved corn.
  3. It is painted yellow for the sun god, according to random tourists who wrote about it on various travel websites.
